How can I receive reasonable adjustments for my learning needs?
If you have a specific learning need (e.g. dyslexia) and require adjustments to support your learning, you must inform your teacher about what adjustments you need during class.
There is also the opportunity to declare any reasonable adjustments on the application form. This information will be passed on to your teacher, but it is equally important that you explain to your teacher exactly what you need.
We want BSL to be accessible to everyone. Therefore, if you feel the teacher has not made adequate reasonable adjustments to support your learning, you should follow the procedure set out in our complaints policy.
