Resit Review Request Form

Use this form first if you have received an unsuccessful assessment result.

A resit review meeting is the first step after a fail result. The purpose of the meeting is to review your feedback, discuss what happened, identify your next steps, and decide whether a resit, further preparation, enquiry about result, appeal, reasonable adjustment, special consideration or another process may be appropriate.

This form does not book a resit and does not start a formal appeal.

If BSL First advises you that an appeal or enquiry about result may be appropriate, you will then be directed to complete the Exam Appeal / Enquiry About Result Form.

Section 5: Schedule a meeting

Important:
A resit review meeting is required before BSL First confirms a resit booking. You can schedule your meeting now, but your meeting is not confirmed until we have approved your request and you have received official confirmation from BSL First.

A resit may involve a fee. Current resit fees are published on the BSL First website.

If BSL First believes that an enquiry about result, appeal, reasonable adjustment, special consideration or extenuating circumstances process is more appropriate, you may be directed to the relevant form or policy.
