    Bio:

    Karen qualified as a Registered Sign Language Interpreter (RSLI) in 2004 and has worked across a wide range of domains, including child protection, police, education, community, forensic mental health, media, and VRS/VRI platforms such as 999BSL. Her specialism is theatre and performance interpreting.

    Alongside interpreting, Karen is a qualified Professional Supervisor, Senior Practitioner, Practice Assessor and mentor. She serves as a Case Examiner for the NRCPD and is a member of the Association of Sign Language Interpreters (ASLI) as well as Visual Language Professionals (VLP). Karen is passionate about lifelong learning, professional development, and supporting the profession.
